Strangelight Dramatis Personae
« on: August 03, 2009, 07:09:33 pm »
Ok, heres the character list for my Strangelight Workshop RP along with some background info on each character.

~ ~ ~

Prof. Edward Blankenship
Late 40s.

Founder of the Strangelight Workshop in 1871 after a few years teaching at various colleges and universities across England. He still teaches an occasional class or lecture at Cambridge University, but is somewhat on the "outs" with the Chancellor and most other professors. They disapprove of his turning his lore of alchemy to this kind of commercial venture, particularly one based on occult lore.

Creena Torcail.
24

Creena is employed at the Workshop in the guise of professor Blankenship's assistant, though she spends most of her time elbow deep in some experiment or another. She is quite young for a woman of such skill and attractive despite her unkempt appearance-often covered in soot, ashes and clothes spattered with a variety of chemicals from her work. She is the niece of Rogan Torcail, a wealthy industrialist, but has never paid any mind to her politically minded family. Her lineage in itself is enough to attract suitors of dubious repute seeking connection to the Torcails or their fortunes.

And The Rest...

Viktor Van Golff, a supposed Dutch businessman with interest in the shipping concerns of the port of Great Yarmouth. Also known to do a bit of arms dealing on the side, so bit of an unusual guest.

~

Theodore Wittmore, American businessman with ties to Master Ellsworth's shipping company and vested interest in said company. Tipped to be one of the buyers of Antingham Hall, but known to be a little...'brash'.

~

Mr 'May', an unusual chap dressed the entire time in a black suit, hat and overcoat. A man of little word, but said to be viewing the house for his 'client'.
