You've got to hand it to them, the Doctor Who team have pulled out all the stops for this season's finalé. Farewell David Tennant, welcome, well, who knows??

Of course, here at Vote Saxon Towers, we know exactly what's going to happen next, especially who the mantle of the Doctor will be handed onto. The new tenent of Tennant's TARDIS as it were. And then there are the Daleks and Davros to be defeated. It'll be all fighting hands on deck to manage them.

Journey's End promises to be 65 minutes (yes, you read that correctly) of unadulterated excitement. Whereas for Donna the answer was to turn left, for the Doctor he'll need his right hand man to prevent the end of the universe. And speaking of Donna, are we about to discover just what a Mrs Noble she actually is?

Are we trying to give something away y'think? We reckon we've just handed it to you on a plate. Right there.

This Saturday, four years worth of adventures and excitement begin to come to a conclusion as we march boldly into the last 2 hours of this season's secrets. Want to know what happens? Want a few tit-bits?

When all else fails, it's time to reach into the shadows, but this time with no Vashta Nerada there is still goodness to proclaim. Or is there? Alternatively you could call for help from Torchwood or even Mr Smith, but what can they do against the advancing hordes?

Crucibles and ancient enemies provide the focus for the conclusion, and the last five minutes provide one of the most unexpected cliff-hangers ever. If the Doctor were a cat, he'd be very worried at this point if he'd gone through eight scrapes before....
